Adult film legend Ron Jeremy is once again being accused of sexual misconduct. This time, the porn star has received allegations of sexual battery, which is currently placed under review by the L.A. County District Attorney. The case was first brought to the District Attorney's office in December.
As TMZ reported, the alleged case involves a woman who claims Ron Jeremy groped her after he followed her into the bathroom at the Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip. The Sheriff's Department has recently turned in the results of their investigation to the D.A.'s office. This story is still ongoing. Ron Jeremy hasn't released a statement regarding this particular incident, although he has spoken out about past allegations made against him.
Ron Jeremy has received multiple allegations and accusations of sexual misconduct. Most recently, Ron Jeremy was accused of sexual assault in Washington State in September, when a woman claimed the seasoned porn star grabbed her butt, groped her chest and performed other inappropriate behavior. These charges were cleared last month. There was also an investigative piece published in Rolling Stone in November that recounted over three decades of first-hand accounts of multiple sexual assault allegations directed towards Ron Jeremy from several different women, all of which Jeremy denies. In an emailed statement the porn actor released to the magazine, Ron Jeremy continued to profess his innocence. Here's a direct quote from his response.
These allegations are pure lies or buyers remorse ... I have never and would never rape anyone. All serious allegations have been investigated by police and dismissed by judges, as have most of the accusations of 'groping.' I have never been charged nor spent one day in court for any of this.
Nevertheless, the allegations resulted in Ron Jeremy being banned from the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and Awards in January. The adult film star, however, claims that he wasn't planning to attend the show anyway, as he states he was filming two movies and doing a week of stand-up comedy at the time. Jeremy continued to claim his innocence against these allegations to TheWrap earlier this year. Here's what he told the publication in January.
