Rachel Weisz And Daniel Craig Are Having A Baby
Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig are expecting their first child together. As it was revealed in a profile piece with Rachel Weisz, The Lobster actress is currently pregnant with her second child. It will also be Daniel Craig's second child as well, ad they both have children from previous relationships.
The baby news comes from Rachel Weisz's recent interview with The New York Times to promote her latest film, Disobedience, which comes out next weekend. When asked how she remains radiant after all these years, Weisz confessed she is glowing because she has a little baby growing inside her.
Parenthood isn't something new for Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig. Weisz shares 11-year-old Henry Aronofsky with her former partner, film director Darren Aronofsky. Weisz previously worked with Darren Aronofsky on his 2006 film The Fountain. Craig, meanwhile, is the father of 25-year-old Ella Craig. The Bond actor shares the child with his previous wife, actress Fiona Loudon; they were married from 1992 to 1994. But this forthcoming baby is the first child Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz will share together since they got married back in 2011. They met while working on Dream House, and appear to be over the moon about the new arrival. Details such as how far along Weisz is are not yet clear.
This baby announcement is the exciting next step in Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz's marriage, and the acting couple remains very happy together. As for why they stay off social media, they confess that it doesn't really interest either of them. They don't care about trying to establish their brand.
Beyond her upcoming role in Disobedience (which she also produced), Rachel Weisz was last seen in last year's My Cousin Rachel. She'll also soon be seen in The Mercy later this year with Colin Firth. Weisz also recently reunited with Yargos Lanthimos for his upcoming film The Favourite, which also stars Emma Stone and Nicholas Hoult. It is expected to arrive later this year. Weisz is also signed on to appear in two upcoming films, the sci-fi drama Cloud One and an upcoming untitled biopic on Dr. James Barry, but it's unclear if those projects will be delayed in light of this recent baby news. Both are in the very early stages. We'll keep you posted on any upcoming news. In the meantime, however, congratulations are in order for Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig for this exciting new baby announcement!
