Carrie Underwood Is Pregnant Again
A second child is on the way for Carrie Underwood. When Underwood was spilling information on the upcoming Cry Pretty Tour 360 on social media, she revealed that the tour would not be taking place until May, for one very specific reason: she's pregnant. As eager as Underwood is to be reunited with her fans and to spread her music around the world, she needs to focus on bringing her newest little bundle of joy into the world first. That said, even though Underwood is currently cradling child number two inside her stomach right now, she's not going to let that stop her from keeping busy with her music. She promises to keep her fans and followers updated on her tour and music in the months to come. Here's the video of Underwood.
As Carrie Underwood admits in the Instagram video, she's "over the moon" about this announcement, and she can't wait until she can welcome her second child into her family. Underwood is the mother of 3-year-old Isaiah, and she shares that child with her husband, former professional hockey player Mike Fisher. The athlete and the musician have been married since 2010, and while Underwood loves her fans and she hopes to see them all during this upcoming tour, she's got her commitments to her family to attend to first. Motherhood ultimately comes before any music goals.
The upcoming Cry Pretty Tour 360 promotes Carrie Underwood's newest album, entitled Cry Pretty, which is set to be released on September 16th. While normally the musician tries to go on tour closer to the album's release date, that ultimately wasn't an option this time around. That said, there's little doubt that Underwood will attract a crowd when she's ready to embark on the road. In addition to the baby news, this video announcement also provides tour dates for the upcoming nationwide trip. She'll kick off the tour in Greensboro, North Carolina, on May 1st. Carrie will be touring the country and Canada in 55 locations shortly thereafter. Joined by special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, it's expected to be an exciting show.
Thankfully, Carrie Underwood's recent baby news is providing some much-needed relief after a difficult number of months. Around New Year's Day, Carrie Underwood found herself in an accident that resulted in 40-50 stitches to the face in addition to a broken wrist. It has been a difficult journey, which is likely covered in the new studio album, but Carrie Underwood is looking great and she seems to be feeling great too. We're glad the musician is being met with good news lately. Here's hoping she's continued to be met with good news as she embarks on her next adventure into motherhood.
