Chris Hemsworth's Kid 'Slammed' His Dad's Face Into A Lit Birthday Cake
Chris Hemsworth got quite the surprise during his birthday bash, though it wasn't necessarily one he might've wanted. As the superhero star revealed on social media, his birthday celebrations took an unexpected and possibly painful turn when one of the actor's sons pushed his face into a lit birthday cake. But the Thor actor is taking it all in stride, and he's also thinking ahead. In joking fashion, Hemsworth believes he can take this accident and turn it into a professional opportunity. Though he'd need to play another well-known Marvel character to make it work. Here's what Chris Hemsworth said.
Chris Hemsworth appeared to be celebrating his 35th birthday in a fairly modest way, with the company of both his wife, Elsa Pataky, and his children, India Rose, aged six, and twins Tristan and Sasha, who are four. It was one of the twins who pushed their father into the inflamed cake, though the actor isn't saying who did it. Hopefully, Hemsworth wasn't actually hurt by this face-to-lit cake connection, but he is at least appreciating the absurdity of it. And he's not alone.
Later this weekend, Ryan Reynolds got in on the fun by commenting on Chris Hemsworth's proposition. In typical fashion, the Deadpool actor wasn't afraid to joke about the whole thing, noting that it was perfect timing since his own daughter provided a fitting accident to play Thor based on his most recent appearance. He also sent his birthday wishes. Here's what Ryan Reynolds' said to Chris Hemsworth in his joking Twitter reply.
Can you imagine Ryan Reynolds as Thor or Chris Hemsworth as Deadpool? Admittedly, the last one necessitates a broader imagination, but we could maybe see Reynolds as the God of Thunder. Maybe. Of course, we shouldn't be expecting either actor to pull a Parent Trap scenario and switch characters. It's all in good fun, and we hope Hemsworth's face heals soon so that we can see him again at the movies. He's currently filming the new Men In Black spinoff with his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson. He was recently seen in Avengers: Infinity War earlier this summer, and he will next be seen in Bad Times in El Royale when it hits theaters on October 5th.
Chris Hemsworth won't have another birthday for a year, but here's hoping shenanigans happen next year, as well.
