When you are the monarch of the Kardashians, you are given more-than-a-few responsibilities. Kris Jenner, the head of the much-televised family, is always trying to put out fires or keep everyone in check from one dramatic episode after another. But even she finds herself getting overwhelmed -- like many of us -- at one particular family member, if by law only: Kanye West. As she admits on a recent episode of Ellen, Jenner wishes Kanye West wouldn't always be so open to sharing anything and everything these days. To keep things blunt, Kris Jenner wishes Kanye West kept things "private."
It was very spontaneous. And the stuff that they were talking about, when they got to the airplane, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, that's so Kanye. He was sharing thoughts and things of himself.' But I would rather he share some of that stuff privately. Obviously, that would be great.
In the clip from Ellen, Kris Jenner admits that she doesn't sleep much anymore. There's always something going on, and she finds herself getting calls at "god-awful" hours from Kim Kardashian West, where she is always asking questions. As Jenner admits, there's always "something." It is never a nice and quiet moment for the ever-expansive Kardashian family. But Kanye West is the family member who winds up in the most trouble these days.
As Kris Jenner admits, she would rather not say anything about Kanye West's ongoing behavior. But since she's in the guest chair with Ellen DeGeneres and she was asked to say her thoughts on Kanye West's media-friendly antics, she feels it's important to make a statement about it. While she is quick to call him an "amazing dad," an "amazing son-in-law," an "amazing husband" and so on and so forth, Jenner does find herself not entirely pleased with how Kanye West has chosen to spend a good deal of his time lately. But she wants to be there for him while he is going through his life.
That said, Kris Jenner can admit that it can be "sometimes worrisome," and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians personality wants Kanye West to know that she is there if he needs her. Jenner admits that she saw Kanye West's recent trip to the White House to meet with President Donald Trump. A lot of the stuff he was sharing with the President were things that Jenner wishes Kanye shared privately, let alone in front of the President in front of the world's stage.

As Kris Jenner admits, Kanye is gonna be Kanye, and she can't get him out of his own way. But Kris Jenner will be there to guide him and support him in any way she can if Kanye wants her support. Whether or not he will accept that support, however, is another matter entirely.
