Dax Shepard Denies Cheating On Kristen Bell, Says Evidence Is Inaccurate

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are widely considered one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. They have a romance that's playful and affectionate, loving and seemingly sincere, despite their fame and notoriety in the media circus. One would hope that they stay together for the long run, keeping the promise of love alive despite their busy lives and careers. Nothing is certain in this world we reside in, however. After all, recent rumors might be bringing about devastating news for the couple's fans: that Shepard reportedly cheated on Bell. But Shepard denied these accusations on Instagram.

The cheating claims were made by The Daily Mail. During a scandalous article, they made the accusation that Dax Shepard was reportedly rekindling his romance with Kayti Edwards, a former model the actor/director once dated. The article claims they were hosting an affair in private, away from his marriage and family life with Bell. There are a series of accompanying photos which show Shepard and Edwards passionately smooching and the article believes these romantic photos are damning enough evidence to suggest Dax Shepard is cheating on his wife and partner of several years.

But, Dax Shepard wants to cut through the crap -- at least, in his view. He claims the alleged accusations made against him are completely and entirely b.s., and he claims the lack of evidence is what makes these cheating claims deflate. As he wrote on Instagram, the photos they used on their report were 13 years old, opposed to nine years old as they suggest. The CHIPS actor/writer/director also claims Kayti Edwards sold similarly suggestive and damning photos of Matthew Perry and Kid Rock. Shepard claims he's simply the latest in a chain of celebrities who've had pictures of themselves spun.

So, case closed? One would certainly hope so. Nobody wants to think that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are having difficulties in their marriage, and there will be many who would be heartbroken to know that Shepard cheated on The Good Place actress with another woman. But, Shepard is putting his foot down and insisting that this reported affair news is all hogwash and it should be ignored and disregarded as such. One hopes that's the case.

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell have been married since 2013 and they share two children together: Lincoln Shepard (5) and Delta Bell Shepard (3). They have made it no secret that they have very warm, affectionate feelings for one another, and it would be more than a shame if it were to be revealed that Shepard is reportedly sleeping with another woman behind Bell's back. According to Shepard, however, that's definitely not the case.
