Meghan Trainor's New Husband Daryl Sabara Is Apparently All About That Bass

Meghan Trainor is married! The singer tied the knot with boyfriend Daryl Sabara, known for starring in the Spy Kids movies and more recently for doing voicework for Ben 10 and Ultimate Spider-man. The couple were married in their backyard in Los Angeles and about 100 guests attended the big event.

The nuptials happened over the weekend on December 22 and the event was a long time in the making. Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara had actually been engaged since December of 2017, so they had a full year to plan the big event. Interestingly, December 22 happened to be Meghan Trainor's 25th birthday. Sabara just so happens to have also proposed while celebrating the singer's birthday a year previously. Lots of good things happen for the singer during the month of December.

It looks like Daryl Sabara really is all about that bass. The actor told People,

For the big event, Meghan Trainor did have a costume change. She kicked things off in a Berta dress and Badgley Mischka shoes. She later swapped the elegant look for a Rita Vinieris original lace suit and a pair of tennis shoes from Aldo. Meghan Trainor had been teasing her upcoming nuptials for a while, even telling fans it would happen near Christmas and there would be plenty of festive holiday lights. (Christmas lights were also a part of their engagement a year ago.) She also previously told ET back in October that she already had a dress and that the big event would go down "soon."

Personally, I'm not sure I'd want my wedding anniversary to fall on my birthday, because I'd be missing out on the chance to celebrate twice, but clearly this is the way that Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara wanted things. Trainor has always been fond of the month of December, both because of the holiday and her birthday, and she mentioned in interviews related to the wedding that throwing in a wedding during that month was a natural fit.

Originally Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara met back in 2014, prior to her major rise in fame that same year with "All About That Bass." They dated for several years before getting engaged in front of family and friends in 2017. Now, Meghan Trainor's new album Treat Yourself is said to have been inspired by her now-husband.

Next, the two should be treating themselves to an excellent honeymoon before she gets to work on promoting her new album, due out in 2019. The album is expected to drop in January or February after delays.
