More Details About Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth's Low-Key Wedding
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially hitched, according to recent reports. Though you would be forgiven if you did not hear the big news. The musician and actor kept their wedding low profile, opting for a nuptials ceremony that was a lot more discreet than your typical celebrity wedding. The news was confirmed in sly fashion on Twitter, where Cyrus posted the following black-and-white photo with the loving note of "10 years later..."
As it was reported by People, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth tied the knot on Sunday during a reportedly private ceremony. And while the details about the wedding have slowly been revealed to the public, the people involved with the ceremony posted a few updates on their Instagram Stories.
This includes a video of Liam, Luke and Chris Hemsworth doing shotskis, plus a photo of Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus posing in front of desserts alongside Miley's mom, Tish. Even though it was a private wedding for everyone involved, it still featured more than a few celebrities.
Though the details are scarce, it is known that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth's wedding took place in Franklin, Tennessee at the couple's home. And though video of the ceremony isn't completely readily available at this time, Miley Cyrus posted some footage of herself dancing alongside Liam.
Additionally, Miley Cyrus posted a picture of herself kissing her new hubby, Liam Hemsworth, in the midst of the wedding ceremony. Take a look below.
The wedding is the happy ending of a turbulent, on-and-off relationship shared between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. The couple has been together for roughly eight-to-ten years, with Hemsworth first proposing to Cyrus back in 2012. Since then, they have gotten together and broken it off more than a few times, and it wasn't clear at a point if they were even going to get back together. But now that they each said "I do," they are officially committed.
According to an unnamed source close to Entertainment Tonight, it was ultimately a matter of timing between Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus. The couple could never get their stars lined up, and it wasn't set to be until now, it seems. Between their careers, their ages, their family input and a bunch of other factors, it wasn't a totally done deal -- though it seems the couple still cared about each other in the long run, despite their various turmoils.
