Apparently Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Know Their Baby's Gender
Will the next royal heir to the British monarchy be a bouncing baby boy or a beautiful baby girl? The answer is unknown for certain to the public-at-large, but that won't stop people from guessing. Oh yes, there are many people who have guesses. In fact, it becomes a bit of a competition towards the run-up to the big day, although there are reports speculating that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are not only aware of the soon-to-be born baby's gender, but that they let the information slip during a recent event. Though we won't know the definitive answer until the baby is brought into this world, gamblers might've gotten an early answer courtesy of none other than the famous royal soon-to-be mother herself.
As it was reported by Us Weekly, there are many fans who believe the baby is going to be a girl. This information was let by the predominately pink decorations that Meghan Markle reportedly received during her New York City baby shower. Seems like a done deal, right? Not so fast. Because according to a few folks inside The Mark Hotel on February 20th, Markle was reportedly claiming that her baby is going to be a boy, and that goes against some of the early predictions made about the child. Even Prince Harry in October reportedly thought it was going to be a girl!
And it might still be a girl, for all anyone knows. But if Meghan Markle is reportedly claiming it's a boy, that would be a reliable source. Of course, there is the possibility that Markle is being intentionally deceiving. She is an actress, after all, and it wouldn't be impossible to imagine that she knows people are firmly (and maybe accurately) guessing it's a girl and she wanted to make it a little more unclear. One can never guess these things for sure. But it would certainly be a fun theory, and it would make the lead-up to the upcoming big day all-the-more thrilling.
So, if you were planning to place a bet on what you think the gender of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's forthcoming child will be, you have very good reason to believe it is going to be a boy -- assuming, of course, these reports are trustworthy.
Of course, we'll know the answer for sure later this year when the much-anticipated royal baby is born and introduced to the world. The due date isn't known for certain, but in the initial report announcing the pregnancy news, the Kensington Palace suggested that the child is expected to arrive sometime this spring. With the winter frost melting away and the early sunshine of spring seeping through the days, that means the baby is expected to arrive sooner than later. That means we'll know the ultimate truth about the baby's gender -- whether that means it's a boy or it's a girl -- soon enough. For now, however, we can only speculate and report what we know.
