No, Nicki Minaj Isn't Actually Married

Nicki Minaj - "No Frauds" Music Video

Nicki Minaj has loved and loss throughout the years, and there are certainly a few dating rumors that have been spun in her career. But the latest one is possibly the biggest to date, and it originated from Minaj herself. On her Beats 1 radio show, Queen Radio, the "No Faults" rapper suggested that her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, wasn't merely her boyfriend but her "husband." Did she secretly get hitched? Despite making this claim, though, Minaj stresses she hasn't actually tied the knot.

As it was reported by The Daily Mail, Nicki Minaj made a reference to her "husband" on Queen Radio, saying that her man often helps the musician massage lotion onto her feet. Understandably, that suggestion got Nicki Minaj's fans in a tailspin. Did she offhandedly confirm some big news? Did this Queen finally find her King? Despite claiming that she has a husband, however, sources close to the musician claim Minaj isn't actually married at this time, but the couple is "very much in love."

So, there you have it. According to a few sources close to Nicki Minaj, she reportedly isn't exactly married just yet. But the musician herself hasn't confirmed the news at this time, nor has she released an official statement — on social media or elsewhere — in response to this offhanded reference to her "husband." Although she isn't married right this second, does that mean Nicki Minaj might tie the knot someday soon? Who knows? Publicly, that's up in the air.

Here's the exact quote from Nicki Minaj about her boyfriend, i.e. "husband," but maybe not really, Kenneth Petty, from her Beats 1 radio show, Queen Radio.

Every night when I get out of the shower, my husband takes this really good lotion that we just bought, and he massages my feet and rubs them. He rubs each toe individually, and the heel, and the ball of my foot, and he does it all.

When it comes to Nicki Minaj's relationship with Kenneth Petty, there are many people who find their romance to be a cause of concern based on his criminal history. More specifically, Petty has spent seven years in prison for first degree manslaughter, which he pleaded guilty to. But Minaj reportedly dismisses these worries, allegedly claiming that Petty is nice to the star and treats her well.

It's safe to say that things for Nicki Minaj have been tough lately. She had to cancel two concerts during the European leg of her tour, and it was during the cancelled French concert that angry fans in the audience began to chant the name Cardi B, in reference to the fellow rap musician with whom Nicki is currently feuding with. Minaj also cancelled the North American portion of the tour reportedly due to low ticket sales. But she claims things are going well in her relationship with Kenneth Petty, and there's a chance wedding bells might soon be ringing. Though, according to a few sources close to Minaj, they haven't rung just yet — despite what she said.
