Alec Baldwin Accused Of Hitting Photographer After Getting Marriage License

Getting a marriage license is typically an exciting and happy errand for future spouses to do together, but unfortunately for Alec Baldwin, his trip to the courthouse this afternoon wound up getting physical. The actor was exiting the building when he was approached by a group of photographers trying to snap pictures of him alongside future wife Hilaria Thomas. Everyone involved seems to agree on that much, but as for what happened next, you’ll need to get your detective hat on and decide for yourself.

The New York Daily News is alleging Baldwin tried to break one photographer’s camera and later punched a second in the chin. The latter victim, Marcus Santos, filed a police report immediately after the incident, claiming dizziness, a headache and pain in his chin.

Baldwin, on the other hand, is telling a completely different story. The actor took to Twitter to vent his frustrations and claim the photographer nearly hit him in the face with a camera. In true Baldwin style, he also made a pointed and aggressive joke that’s now being used against him. You can take a look at it below…

I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over...

The New York Daily News has already published photographs which show Baldwin pushing the photographer, but none depict any punches being thrown. As a result, it’s really unclear whom to believe. Santos has allegedly made his way to the hospital to be checked out, but given what reportedly occurred, I don’t really understand why that would be practical for any reason other than a potential lawsuit.

Regardless, Pop Blend sends out its congratulations to Baldwin and Thomas on their upcoming marriage.
