Are Amanda Bynes' Problems Mental Or Drug Related?

Amanda Bynes made it through the day today without getting pulled over, but if the newest reports are to be believed, her strange behavior still kicked into a new gear. The actress reportedly stopped by the West Hollywood boutique Kin to do some shopping and wound up causing great concern among employees after she spent an inordinate amount of time in the dressing room.

According to TMZ, Bynes took a number of outfits with her into the changing room and stayed inside for an hour and forty-five minutes. Periodic banging noises were heard coming from inside the booth, and those on duty checked in several times to ask if she was okay. Each time, she reportedly said she was fine and needed a bit more time. Once she emerged, Amanda went to the register and bought several outfits before asking if a cab could be called.

Whether the outlandish tale is true or not, it’s just one of numerous told about the former Nickelodeon star in the past few months. From being chased by a police helicopter to carrying on conversations with inanimate objects, some have used the whispers to point the finger at mental problems, while others have accused the actress of abusing drugs.

Later this week, she’ll go in front of a judge to begin answering all of the vehicular charges before her. When that happens, it’ll likely become clear what’s been going on. But until then, let us know your speculation. Do you think Bynes’ problems are mental or drug-related? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
