Beyonce Talks Astonishing Weight Loss In Shape Magazine
Beyoncé’s been working on her image in recent months, making her big trek back into the world of music after having baby Blue Ivy. Part of this has involved big press events, including her epic Super Bowl performance. For the month of April, the 31–year-old signed on to be the cover girl for Shape magazine and to talk about her biggest challenge yet—getting in shape post-baby.
It’s always hard to lose a significant amount of weight and for Beyoncé, the work was a little tougher than it may be for the average individual. The singer told the magazine she foolishly scheduled a gig just three months after she had a baby. I’m not sure anyone would have cared if the singer presented a little flub, but that’s not really the “Run the World (Girls)” singer’s style.
In the cover story, the woman also talks about not being a naturally thin woman and what it took to lose the whopping 57 pounds she’s lost since the birth of her child. Beyoncé says she ate well and also took a ton of dance classes to prep for her return to music as well as to get into shape. I’m sure a healthy relationship with her husband also helped her return to form, or at least that's what I would surmise.
Since the singer is busier than ever, introducing a new track on Monday, she should have no trouble keeping the weight off in the coming months.
