Brad Pitt And Angelina's New Wine Will Hit The Market In March
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have an impressive collective resume. The couple can name acting credits, producing credits, directing credits, humanitarian work, and even one very serious Chanel commercial between the two of them. As if those projects weren’t enough, the couple has branched out into winemaking and will put their first bottle out next month, on March 15..
Way back in 2008, Jolie and Pitt leased and later bought a vineyard in France. It took a few years, but the couple has now moved from owning a vineyard to actually producing bottles of wine. The wine is rolling with the name Miraval, after the vineyard the two celebrities own. It’s a 2012 pink rosé and it will come in a dreamy bottle.
According to Bloomberg, the wine is actually a joint venture with the Perrin family, a French family known for wine. Profit from the venture will be split between the Perrin family and Jolie and Pitt, which seems fair. Additionally, the label will carry all the pertinent names and will say ““Jolie-Pitt and Perrin.” If it seems like a bottle you may purchase, you’ll probably want to know about the flavors. Miraval will focus on floral flavors, with hints of roses and raspberries. While I’m not certain I would invest in the very first bottles of wine the famous couple produces, with an actual winery guru on board, it may not be as bad of a decision as one might assume. We have no idea what the bottle will cost buyers, but we'll let you know as soon as that news breaks. I'm guessing it will be a little pricier than a box of Franzia, though.
