Channing Tatum Is People's Sexiest Man Alive For 2012
If you watched last night's episode of Don't Trust the B---- Apartment 23, you know that lead character June made a pretty good case for Channing Tatum being People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, stating that the actor "has the head of a boy but the bod of a full grown man. His movies have grossed over a billion dollars," she claimed. The character went on to state the facts, which include that he's a trained dancer, he can do both drama and comedy and that his face was marinated by angels. I'm pretty sure all of that is true, including the angels part, and People Magazine may agree because they've named him this year's Sexiest Man Alive!
Here's the cover of People's issue.
Some may complain that Ryan Gosling was snubbed again (though he is mentioned on the cover!), but it's been a pretty great year for Tatum, who made us cry with The Vow, made us laugh with 21 Jump Street and made us stare, blush and drool with Magic Mike. If being funny, dramatic, muscular and flexible isn't enough, here's a sample of his dance moves from Magic Mike…
Tatum joins Bradley Cooper (2011), Ryan Reynolds (2010), Johnny Depp (2009), Hugh Jackman (2008) and Matt Damon (2007) among the recent men picked by People as Sexiest Man Alive. We'll see Tatum next year in White House Down, Side Effects and G.I. Joe Retaliation.
