Check Out The Red Hot Chili Peppers' New Song In Love Dying
It’s hard to believe the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s tenth studio album, I’m With You, was released all the way back in 2011. Part of the reason the release date seems more recent probably stems from the fact the band has been putting out singles via its site in recent months. The newest track, “In Love Dying,” is a lengthy, experimental jam that you really should just hear for yourself.
Admittedly, “In Love Dying” is kind of a commitment. The track is over eight minutes long, which is several minutes longer than some of the other singles the band has releases using work left over from the recording of I’m With You, including “Pink as Floyd,” “Love of Your Life,” and “The Sunset Sleeps.” You can order “In Love Dying” and some of the band’s other recently released singles via the group’s website, which also features the lyrics to the song.
In similar news the Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to headline the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival. So if you are really into “In Love Dying” or one of the other new singles, there’s a good chance the band might bust them out during the festival, among plenty of other RHCP hits. As tickets to the festival are pricey, it’s definitely a good thing the new single is also available for download.
Personally, all of these singles just remind me that I’d really prefer a new Chili Peppers album. I don’t want to sound whiny, but hopefully we’ll have to wait less than five years for the band’s next round at bat.
