Demi Moore's Daughter Was Reportedly There During 911 Call

The ten minute 911 call placed immediately after Demi Moore collapsed contained more than its share of edited moments, but what remained was enough to generate one big question. Did the actress’ daughter Rumer Willis witness the whole thing? On the tape, the speaker can clearly be heard asking a “Ru” for information to help the paramedics arrive at the proper destination. The “Ru” in question was widely assumed to be Rumer Willis. So, was she there for the traumatic event?

According to E!, the answer is kind of. The outlet’s source claims Rumer and a few friends were hanging out inside the house but not specifically with her mother. They were apparently in another room, but obviously, judging by the phone call, at least Rumer headed to check on Demi once it became clear something was wrong.

The two ladies have seemed close for the past few years and have been often photographed together in public. In the days following the incident Rumer has been seen several times outside the facility her mother was taken to, but it’s unclear just how much she’s been allowed to visit. Demi’s recovery has been largely shrouded in secrecy, as it should be.

No doubt Rumer’s presence during her mother’s ill-fated party is a great bother to many observers, but the most important part of this story is that Demi is okay and receiving treatment. Getting better needs to be her number one priority. There will be plenty of time to behave differently with her twenty-three year old daughter once sobriety has kicked in. Until then, Pop Blend wishes the entire family nothing but the best.
