Demi Moore Finally Changes Twitter Handle
A couple of years ago, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher seemed to be a devoted couple, so devoted Moore even plastered photos of the couple’s affectionate moments all over Twitter, even rolling with the handle @mrskutcher. Of course, when the couple announced they were going to divorce in November and later, when many of the sticky details emerged, Moore’s over five million fans all had the same wonder: When would the actress go about changing her handle?
The queries got to be so bad that in December, Moore addressed her followers, stating that Twitter was not really a “high priority” in her time of general duress. This quieted down the fans, but still, it seemed inevitable the Margin Call actress would eventually get around to changing her name on the social networking site. It might be a painful thing to do, but it would have to be done.
This probably would have happened months ago, however, following a period of personal troubles, Moore eventually checked herself into rehab to work through her issues. Yesterday, as she neared the 5 million mark, she went to Twitter to address the issue once and for all.
True to her word, the celebrity is now at over five million fans and has unveiled a brand new handle. Fans can currently find her at @justdemi, but the 49 year-old might change it just yet.
Personally, I don’t know why she doesn’t just roll with her own name, but I guess I’m just too literal to understand Ms. Moore’s whimsy.
