Demi Moore Reportedly Wants Divorce Money From Ashton Kutcher
Demi Moore might have plenty of money from her long Hollywood career and her divorce settlement with Bruce Willis, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want some of the crazy Two And A Half Men paychecks Ashton Kutcher has collected over the past few years. That’s reportedly why she didn’t file divorce documents for more than a year. She thought a settlement could be brokered beforehand with her soon-to-be ex-husband.
According to TMZ, Moore entered the marriage in way better financial shape than Kutcher, but because of the trajectory of their careers, he probably made a lot more than her while they were together. In theory, this could put her in position to take some of what he made, and if these new rumors are to be believed, that’s exactly what she’s planning to do.
I have no idea why she would want to waste months or years fighting it out for money that can’t possibly change her life. That strikes me as a gigantic waste of time, but if that’s what she feels she needs to do in order to get closure and be mentally okay with this break-up, I suppose she should get a lawyer and dig in her heels.
Demi and Ashton’s initial break-up was widely covered by media sources for months. If these two can work out an easy, bloodless agreement that works for both of them, this divorce won’t be a big deal, but if they each open the vault and spill relationship secrets in the name of winning, it’ll probably turn into a media circus. We’ll keep you updated.
