Dina Eastwood Hits Clint With Divorce Papers
Clint and Dina Eastwood’s marriage has been in serious trouble for months. At one point, things go so bad she actually checked into rehab for anxiety and depression related to the fallout. Over the past few weeks, all has been pretty quiet on the domestic front, which, apparently, was a bad sign. Dina officially filed divorce papers this week in an effort to end her seventeen-year-marriage to the noted director/ actor/ former mayor/ all-around badass.
According to US Magazine, a few weeks after their official late August separation, Dina filed paperwork to make their separation legal. Two days later, she withdrew her petition; however, within hours of doing so, Clint was photographed with rumored girlfriend Erica Fisher. Obviously, that didn’t put anyone in a mood to make it work, and since then, everyone has pretty much been waiting for the ax to drop, which it did via the divorce documents that cite the old stand-by irreconcilable differences.
As great as it was to see Clint settle down and become a bit more of a family man, there was something about his relationship with Dina that always seemed a little bit off. Recently, Dina and Clint’s daughters participated in a reality show, and that reportedly didn’t sit too well with the actor. In addition, there were long rumors of infidelity in the marriage, which makes sense given the couple’s age difference (83 vs 48) and his long history with bedding some of the hottest women in the world.
Regardless of why the split happened, Pop Blend sends out its sincerest well-wishes to the entire family, specifically the now ex-couple’s sixteen-year-old daughter. No doubt it would have been nice for her parents to be able to make it over the long haul. Hopefully, they’re at least able to put aside their differences and make the best of the situation for her sake. No teenager wants to play be the go-between for two adults who should know better than to fight.
