Director Bobby Farrelly's Son Dies Following Addiction Battle
The Farrelly family might be best known for Bobby and Peter’s wonderful comedies like Dumb And Dumber, Kingpin and There’s Something About Mary, but the clan’s normally positive demeanor has been replaced this week by sadness in the wake of a devastating loss. Bobby’s son Jesse was found unresponsive in his California apartment on Wednesday, and by the time authorities arrived, nothing could be done.
The twenty-year-old was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival. According to TMZ, the coroner’s results have not yet been made public, but sources are saying drugs were probably involved. The Farrelly’s have already released a statement, and there words seem to further that speculation. Here’s what the grieving family had to say…
A parent losing a child is always a devastating blow, but losing one at such a young age is even worse. We’ll never know what pushed Jesse to make the decisions he did, but like the aforementioned statement says, right now it’s best to just be grateful for the good times he shared. In addition to his parents Bobby and Nancy, Jesse also leaves behind two sisters, Tiffany and Anna, and a whole lot of other grieving family members.
Pop Blend offers its deepest sympathies to those who knew him best.
