Google Gets Romantic With A Valentine's Day Doodle
It’s Valentine’s Day! If you happened upon Google already today, you may have noticed that, once again, the search engine has gussied up its home page to offer their visitors a charming little reminder of the day with an adorable, romantic doodle. Check it out ahead and make sure to have your speakers on!
Set to the tune of Tony Bennett’s “Cold, Cold Heart,” Google’s Valentine's Day animated doodle tells a brief, familiar story of a boy who wishes to gain the attention and the affection of a girl. Set to music, it runs like a sweet short silent movie.
The site takes it a step further at the very end, by showing their appreciation for all types of love, be it an astronaut and alien, a princess and a frog, a cat and a dog, milk and cookies, or as shown in two of the six featured boxes, same-sex couples.
Happy Valentine's Day!
