Remember when Katherine Jackson went missing and Michael’s kids were allegedly almost kidnapped by other family members in a wild scheme over money from the deceased pop star’s trust? It seemed like damn near everyone in the family had a heated opinion they wanted to make public on the situation back in July, but when it came time to talk about the brouhaha(s) with police, apparently everyone involved got a lot quieter.
According to TMZ, police officers have been forced to drop the attempted kidnapping case against many of Michael’s siblings because not a single one agreed to talk to the police. In fact, most of them reportedly didn’t even bother calling the officers back. Since the grainy video of the incident only shows some kind of skirmish and Janet apparently trying to take a phone away from Paris, there was just no way to proceed without eyewitness testimony.
Obviously, no members of the Jackson Family have publically said why they decided not to cooperate with police, but one would imagine the whole family sat down, hashed some things out and decided the past is best left in the past. Besides, it really doesn’t benefit anyone for siblings, parents, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins to go to war with one another. This situation was nothing more than a stressful media circus for awhile, and I’m sure everyone involved is glad to be passed it.
If anyone decides to cooperate with police, we’ll let you know, but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. These people tend to fight hard and make up hard.
