Jessica Simpson Says She's Losing Weight For Herself Not Weight Watchers
A little less than a month ago, Jessica Simpson went public with her long-rumored partnership with Weight Watchers. For a reported four million dollars, she agreed to lose weight through the company and keep her fans updated on not only her progress but also the cool features of the program. Thus far, the relationship has gone really well, so well in fact that questions began to be asked about how much weight Simpson was contractually obligated to lose and how quickly she needed to lose it.
The combination pop star/ reality star/ actress didn’t get into too many specifics in addressing the whispers on Twitter yesterday, but she did make it clear who she is losing weight for. Take a look at her comment below…
I would imagine Simpson is aware she does need to lose some weight to make her bosses happy, but really, I’m not even sure if Weight Watchers would want her to shed the pounds too quickly. The celebrity has been working out over the last month with Harley Pasternak, a Hollywood trainer, but the majority of women don’t have that option. Most ladies can’t go the gym for multiple hour bursts in the middle of the day and have a professional looking over their shoulders every minute. They drop down a few sizes through good old fashioned work organized around their schedules, and it’ll look better for everyone involved if Simpson does as close to the same as possible. Plus, I’m sure she thinks hanging out with her baby for an extra hour is more appealing than doubling her time at the gym.
