Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Are Engaged
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, never a couple afraid to put themselves in the public eye, have made one of the most important commitments two people can make to each other… and in about the largest space imaginable. Kim and Kanye are finally engaged! And it happened when Kanye popped the question at San Francisco's AT&T Park, which he had rented out entirely for the occasion.
According to E! it also happened to be Kim's 33rd birthday, which made pretty good cover for staging a huge event in a giant baseball park, inviting all of their family and friends and then popping the question. With an orchestra playing Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" the Jumbotron flashed "Pleeease Marry Meee!!!" according to MissInfoTV, who also included this photo:
The engagement comes just days after Kardashian's first husband, Kris Humphries, sold her engagement ring for an impressive $620,000-- and if you think it's not possible that Kanye planned the engagement to upstage that news, you've clearly underestimated his attention-grabbing powers. From feuding with Jimmy Kimmel to battling the paparazzi to actually releasing music, Kanye has been pretty much everywhere since his album Yeezus came out earlier this year-- and, truthfully, he and Kim haven't really left the spotlight since they first went public with their relationship in early 2012. The birth of their daughter North West back in June has kept Kardashian out of the spotlight a bit, but then again, there are already headlines about how she's losing the baby weight, so that hiatus didn't last long. And now we can anticipate preparations for yet another Kardashian wedding, though if this one rivals the insanity of the first one, we're in for a loooooooong engagement.
