Kate Gosselin Fired From Her Coupon Blogging Gig
Life’s gotten a little tougher for former it-mom Kate Gosselin. Over the past few years, the mother of eight has seen her marriage fall apart and her reality show Kate Plus Eight get dropped by TLC. Now, it seems, she can’t even keep a blogging job. Gosselin has been fired by Internet blog CouponCabin and was recently very publicly denounced by the CEO and founder of the site, Scott Kluth.
The former reality star was hired by the website about a year ago and her first blog was posted in November of 2011. Just yesterday, Gosselin posted a blog about saving money via doing home improvement projects without hiring someone to come fix items for her. In nearly all of her blogs, the woman talks about saving money by keeping items (like swimsuits, Halloween decorations, and tools) she may need on more than one occasion. Since she tends to repeat herself, and since the blog generally focuses more on actual coupons, both could potentially explain her firing.
Despite this, Kluth did not divulge the exact reasons why he chose to cut off Gosselin. Instead, he chose to simply say she is no longer a “good fit.”
Hopefully, the woman has a back-up plan. She still has eight mouths to feed and less income coming in every day. Plus, her two oldest kids recently turned twelve. College is just around the corner.
