Kelly Osbourne Is Doing Better, Will Return Home Today
Doctors still don’t know exactly why Kelly Osbourne had a seizure while on the set of Fashion Police last week, but the commentator has stabilized enough to return home. After she leaves, doctors will continue to run tests and investigate what may have happened, but for the time being, the decision to let her go should still be celebrated as a mini victory.
Kelly’s mom, Sharon, offered the life update this morning while on The Talk, as well as a sincere thank you to everyone who sent out well-wishes to Osbourne. Apparently, she and the other members of her family are big believers in the powers of positive thinking, and they were pleasantly overwhelmed by the number of people who took the time to offer support and words of encouragement.
Here’s a portion of her actual quote, as per USA Today…
Until doctors can figure out exactly what happened, Osbourne will continue to take anti-seizure medication. Luckily, they have a secret weapon. Unlike an overwhelming majority of seizures, Osbourne’s was actually caught on tape by the fine people over at Fashion Police. Consequently, doctors are able to study the footage and are actively examining it to figure out exactly what type it was, how long it lasted, how dangerous it was, etc.
Pop Blend’s sincerest well-wishes go out to the entire Osbourne family during this time of need. Here’s to hoping life calms down a little bit for the next few years.
