Lance Bass Surprises Boyfriend With Proposal, Gets A Yes
Lance Bass is getting married. The longtime N Sync star and current radio host/ film producer popped the question to his handsome fiancé, Michael Turchin, over the weekend, and he got the yes he was looking for. Specifics such as date, venue, possible guest list haven’t been made public yet, but some of the details surrounding the lead-up have leaked out.
According to US Magazine, Bass texted Turchin’s parents to get a thumbs up. Once they approved, he purchased a black diamond band and held on to it until the right moment, which turned out to be in New Orleans over the weekend.
Here’s what Turchin had to say on Twitter…
It’s been a crazy few weeks for Bass. After getting called out of nowhere by Justin Timberlake, the affable former Dancing With The Stars contestant flew down to Florida to join his fellow N Sync members in practicing for a reunion at the Video Music Awards. The performance only lasted a brief two minutes or so, but fans ranted and raved about how much they loved it. Rumors even popped up immediately about a possible tour, but that’s not going to happen. No doubt Bass would have enjoyed hitting the road with the guys again, but given this news, it might actually be better that he’s not. Planning a wedding is a giant stress bomb, and it’s even worse if you’re jetting around the country and unable to make choices in person.
Pop Blend’s sincerest congratulations go out to Turchin and Bass during this exciting time. There are few joys one feels in life quite like proposing/ being proposed to. Here’s to hoping these two are able to ride this wave of excitement as long as possible.
We’ll keep you updated on the wedding plans as they go public.
