Lea Michele Debuts Sexy Photo From Album Cover Shoot

Glee actress Lea Michele has had a pretty rough year, thanks to her boyfriend Cory Monteith’s troubling death and the subsequent press coverage. Then, the 27-year-old actress was heavily involved in the Glee episode where Monteith’s character’s death was addressed. You would think the actress would be slowing her roll now that the tough part of the year was behind her, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Instead, she spent the good part of yesterday shooting the cover art for her upcoming debut album.

On October 13, Michele sent out a series of Tweets explaining the cover shoot for the album, which was shot by Peggy Sirota. She actually posted several photos of herself in super tight fitting clothing, but the real money shot is the one above, which was tweeted with the caption, “Sneak peek of today’s #AlbumCover Shoot!”

It was only a matter of time before the prolific celebrity—who sings, acts, and dances—put out an album of original content, and while Michele’s big endeavor does not have a release date yet, it seems as if plans for the release are steadily moving forward. Back in June, the actress admitted to E! that she had finished most of the studio work, but still needed to make a few decisions and fix a few things before the album was officially announced.

"We have the album pretty much locked. Everything is being mastered right now and we are just debating on what we want the first single to be."

The album has been more than a year in the making, and it wouldn’t be a shock if things have been delayed a bit after Monteith’s passing. Still, the album seems to be headed to press more quickly now, and Michele, for one, seems excited for fans to be able to hear her work.

We’ll keep you posted as soon as the untitled endeavor gets an official release date.
