Lea Michele Will Offer Advice, Discuss Her Career In Book Brunette Ambition

Lea Michele is a woman of many talents. She’s a singer who can act or maybe an actress who can sing, and now she’s adding scribe to her lengthy list of accomplishments. The 26-year-old has landed a book deal for a project she is calling Brunette Ambition. The new book is described as a “part memoir, part how-to and part style guide” that will explain Michele’s journey to stardom, as well as chronicle some tips for looking healthy and beautiful and harnessing an attitude and perspective that will help individuals to follow their dreams.

If there’s one thing Michele has the background to write about, it’s success in the industry. The young star headlines the Fox musical comedy, Glee, and has appeared in Broadway productions as varied as Spring Awakening and Les Miserables. Additionally, Michele also keeps busy with side projects, including a deal with Loreal Paris that has her face plastered all over commercials.

According to the New York Times, Brunette Ambition has landed at Harmony Books, which is part of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group. The new “guidebook” is expected to be published in the spring of 2014.

Michele isn’t the only TV name to announce a book this week. Good Morning America host Robin Roberts is also expected to publish a book about her recent struggle with a bone marrow disease. While Roberts’ book should be uplifting, Michele’s should have more pop and glitz for a younger audience. With a little luck, they’ll both land on the bestseller list.
