Michael Clarke Duncan Got Engaged Prior To His Passing
Michael Clarke Duncan may not have been the type of man who hid easily in crowds, but apparently, the late actor was pretty damn good at keeping his personal life under the radar. Prior to his sudden heart attack back in July, the fifty-four-year-old popped the question to his girlfriend Omarosa Manigault and kept the news from everyone in the media.
According to TMZ, a wedding was set for January and some of the specifics were already being worked out when Clarke Duncan was hospitalized. In the official statements following his passing, Omarosa was, for the first time, publically referred to as his fiancée, which is why these wedding plans are now emerging.
No doubt the two would have had an extremely beautiful wedding, and if they’d been given more time, they may have wound up assembling a few cribs too. Manigault’s representative told The New York Daily News the two had talked about starting a family and likely would have begun on that path following the January wedding.
Michael’s last several weeks were spent cooped up in a hospital room. For someone with as big of a smile as his, that’s extremely sad, but it’s nice to know he had so many pleasant moments prior to his battle. Pop Blend’s thoughts go out to Omarosa, as well as everyone else affected by his wonderful life. He will truly be missed.
