Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet Denies Rumored Romance With Charlize Theron
Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet may be crushing life right now between his Emmy win, new contract and widespread popularity, but unfortunately for him, he hasn’t crushed it hard enough to make Charlize Theron a possible future Mrs. Stonestreet candidate. Despite reports the two have been growing extremely cozy and are ready to begin a relationship, the truth isn’t anywhere close to the exciting gossip. In fact, the two don’t even know each other very well.
Stonestreet, in an activity that must have seemed hilarious and surreal, took to his Twitter to both deny and poke fun at the situation. You can take a look at his message below…
To further underscore the lack of anything whatsoever going on, Stonestreet’s representative reached out to People to deny the story outright, saying there’s no romance going on because the two have only met on a pair of occasions. Should they happen to cross paths more often in the future, I suppose it’s possible a romance could blossom, but at this point, the idea of that seems far-fetched.
Ten years ago, Stonestreet got a job playing the documents technician on CSI. Now he’s fighting off Charlize Theron romance romances. It’s been a crazy rise, but given his talent, a deserved one.
