Once Upon A Time's Ginnifer Goodwin And Josh Dallas Are Engaged
It’s looking like there will be a fairy tale wedding in two Once Upon a Time co-stars’ futures. Actors Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin, who play onscreen couple Snow White and Prince Charming on ABC’s hit drama, announced on Friday that after dating for several years, the two are officially engaged.
Sometimes celebrities take a while before they officially announce an engagement, but luckily that doesn’t seem to be the case where Dallas and Goodwin are concerned. According to People, Dallas proposed to Goodwin in Los Angeles on Wednesday and just a couple of days later they made the engagement public via a joint statement.
The couple met on the set of Once Upon a Time back in 2011. They went public with their relationship in April of 2012. If you’ve caught the bonus features for the Once Upon a Time: The Complete First Season Blu-ray, you’ll see how cute the two behave together behind-the-scenes. I’m not at all shocked to hear that 35-year-old Goodwin and 31-year-old Dallas have decided to tie the knot.
Fans of the couple (and likely OUAT) have been filled with congratulations via social media networking sites all day on Friday. Earlier this afternoon, Goodwin tweeted to fans to thank them for their well wishes, as well as nod to her status as a newly engaged woman.
This isn’t the first time Goodwin has been engaged and it isn’t Dallas’ first marriage. The actress was formerly attached to actor Joey Kern before breaking off the engagement in the spring of 2011. Dallas was married to Sherlock’s Laura Pulver until 2011, but Once Upon a Time was shot on location in Canada and she was busy shooting in the U.K. Reportedly ,the distance took its toll, and the couple divorced. Eventually Goodwin and Dallas went from being just friends to lovers, bringing us to today’s joyous announcement. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the future wedding plans. In the meantime, congrats to the happy couple. Pop Blend wishes Dallas and Goodwin the very best as they take the first few steps toward wedding planning.
