Paris Hilton Wins $30,000 Gambling On Her Birthday

Paris Hilton’s been in the spotlight a lot less lately, thanks to the failure of her Oxygen reality series, The World According To Paris and the general improvement of her decision-making abilities. She generated headlines over the weekend however, thanks to a big gamble and an important birthday: the big 3-1.

Justin Timberlake recently celebrated his 31st birthday with a relaxed skiing adventure in British Columbia. I’m fairly certain “relaxed” and “skiing” aren’t really in Paris Hilton’s vocabulary, and even if they were, skiing is not her style. Instead, Hilton celebrated her birthday with family and friends, in the dry climate that has come to be known as Sin City.

The whole thing still may not have been noteworthy, if it didn’t come with a big payoff. Hilton was determined to gamble during the trip, and she ended up at a blackjack table at the Wynn Las Vegas casino. She then spent the evening dominating, eventually winning $30,000, according to her Twitter.

Who wouldn’t love gambling with a $30,000 payoff at the end of the night? Hopefully, this does not become a trend with the troubled reality star. Although it might be a way for her to weasel back into the mainstream tabloids, again.
