Reese Witherspoon Arrested During Husband's DUI Stop, Check Out Her Mugshot
Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth were both arrested on Friday after a traffic stop, and if the latest rumors are to be believed, the Sweet Home Alabama actress allegedly tried to use her celebrity to get out of it.
The incident in question occurred on Friday evening. The married couple’s car was reportedly pulled over, and Toth was popped for allegedly driving under the influence. While the bust was going down, Witherspoon reportedly told one of the officers he was going to end up on the national news. According to TMZ, authorities told the actress to stay put inside the car, and but she got out on two separate occasions. After the second time, she was placed into handcuffs and hauled off to jail for disorderly conducted alongside her husband who got his own driving under the influence charge.
There are two different ways a DUI arrest can go down. Either the person being pulled over can be respectful and cooperative, or he or she can act like a total dipshit. If these reports are to be believed, Witherspoon obviously took the former approach, which is a shame considering how nice of a woman she ordinarily seems to be.
We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge. Until then, you can take a look at Witherspoon’s less than flattering mugshot below…
