George Clooney’s been dating WWE star Stacy Keibler since the summer of 2011. Which means she has had ample opportunity to dress for the red carpet in the past few months. In January, the former WWE champion and Dancing with the Stars contestant showed off her rocking bod in a mermaid shaped Marchesa gown covered in lace. As it turns out, this may not be the last we see of Keibler in a dress from the popular brand.
On Wednesday, Keibler showed up for the Marchesa fall fashion show, hosted by the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The show featured a lot of the soft angles and girlish frippery like tulle and lace that make the brand so popular with a certain faction of women. Afterward, Keibler, then wearing a red lace Marchesa dress, spoke with People about what she thought of the show.
“There were so many dresses that were so beautiful that I would have loved to wear. A few spoke to me. “
The former wrestler later admitted there were a few “[she] sort of had [her] eye on.” Who didn’t, though? The famous fashion brand is often popular on red carpets and other formalwear occasions. With Keibler’s extremely long legs, however, I’m sure she stands out to Marchesa designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig as a perfect woman to dress. If they don’t right now, maybe they should.
I guess we will find out what Clooney’s gal comes up with when the 84th annual Academy Awards ceremony premieres on February 26. Anyone else sensing lace?
