Watch This Live Lip Dub Proposal Set To Bruno Mars
So maybe you're sick of watching online viral videos of elaborate proposals, or of online viral videos featuring dancing flash mobs, or of online videos featuring lip dubs to popular songs. But you know what happens when you put all three together? Something glorious. Portland, Oregon-based actor Isaac Lamb enlisted 60 friends and family members to help him propose to his girlfriend Amy Frankel, to the tune of Bruno Mars's ridiculously catchy "Marry You." You can watch the results in the video below, and I challenge you not to tear up or laugh out loud at least once during the whole production.
You can read more about how he pulled it off at this Oregon Live article, and it won't surprise you to learn that their friends have a background in not just acting but in dance too. It's hard for me to imagine anyone I know doing this, and I'm not even sure I'd want to be in Frankel's position, but it's pretty great to get to live vicariously through someone else's dancing, and witness a spectacle that elaborate while you're at it. Broadway can eat its heart out.
