Watch These Trampoline Acrobats Dunk From Outside The 3 Point Line

I can’t remember the last time I was wowed during the NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest. The number of things you can do when jumping off the ground without any defenders in your way is pretty slim. The number of things you can do when jumping off a trampoline, however, is far greater, and the following video proves that.

Outfitted with some high resolution cameras, the guys over at Supertramp enlisted the help of some Hungarian acrobats and filmed a ton of dunks and ballhandling tricks. The best footage was then compiled together into a highlight tape and the resulting three minutes were put online. You can take a look at the high-flying basketball maneuvers below…

The level of hang time on some of these dunks is extraordinary. It’s definitely the right call to set up mats below the basket because someone would clearly break an ankle or a foot without them.

If I had a stake in these acrobats and was looking to make some money, I would consider trying to organize some kind of double bill with the Harlem Globetrotters. That would offer fans the best of all kinds of basketball goofiness, and assumedly, it would draw a huge crowd.

I'm not saying I'm willing to buy Slamball season tickets, but I could go for one of these videos once a year for the rest of my life.
