Watch These Twins Pull A Fast One On Some Photographers
YouTube all-stars Prank vs Prank are typically known for the gags they play on each other, but now and again, the frequently feuding lovers join forces to blow other people’s minds. Such is the case this week when they enlisted the help of the twins from YouTube channel JacksGap to pull the old switcheroo on some amateur shutterbugs.
Anyone who has ever seen The Prestige or Penn & Teller or really, any other magician worth their salt should know the incredible, mind-blowing power of twins. No one is ever on the lookout for identicals (over the age of five) to be dressed like one another, which is why observers rarely jump to that conclusion when they spot a trick that seems unexplainable.
The specific one here is pretty simple. The two JacksGap brothers position themselves on different levels inside an outdoor mall. The one on the first floor asks someone to take a picture of him, and after a well-timed distraction from the prettier half of Prank vs Prank, the dude on the bottom level hides and the dude on the second level emerges to once again ask the cameraman or woman to snap the photograph. It all happens very quickly, and it leads more than a few people to assume there’s some kind of secret escalator or elevator on the bottom level that quickly transported the dude between levels. With some fancy editing and a sweet sound effect, a few hours of fun were more than enough to make the deeply entertaining video embedded above.
For those of you who haven’t watched any of Prank vs Prank’s more traditional videos, you’re seriously missing out. The two are absolutely ruthless with one another. They’ve pretended to cheat on each other. They’ve put glue in hair. They’ve put sand in sandwiches, and in perhaps my favorite gag they’ve ever done, he put a dangerously hot pepper in her sandwich. Not surprisingly, she was none too pleased when her mouth started dealing with the slow burn. I’ve gone ahead and embedded footage of the prank in question below. It’s undoubtedly hilarious, and I highly recommend you check it out below. Besides, it’s Friday afternoon. We all know you’re not going to be productive doing anything else…
