Why Chris Pratt Sends Poop Photos To His Parks And Rec Cast
If you’re a Parks and Recreation fan, you’ve probably got a good gauge on how silly and ridiculous the cast can be together. When you bring in ensemble cast of comedians and all-around funny actors and have them work together for seven seasons, there are bound to be some interesting stories and relationships forming. And when it comes to Chris Pratt and Nick Offerman the two have a very weird way of showing their love towards one another. They’ve even got Adam Scott in on it. What is this strange yet special bond? Oh they just send each other pictures of their poop. And for good reason.
Chris Pratt was recently on the cover of GQ Magazine and his interview the subject of poop was pretty much inevitable (this is Andy Dwyer we’re talking about). So when pressed about why him and Nick Offerman send each other poop pictures (a concept fairly well known if you follow the two’s weird relationship), Pratt had plenty of reason. For one, they send poop photos on special occasions:
Secondly, Pratt assures that the reason behind it is because they all are buddies, and poop makes them laugh. He also claims that if a poop is specifically unique that deems a photo op.
But really, what this poop pursuit all comes down to, is respect. Pratt explains that this is just the way him and Offerman are. They respect the poops, and send them to each other to further that respect.
And to not quite wipe yet, as vulgar as that may sound, is quite impressive from Chris Pratt, who I personally like to assume is at least 50% Andy Dwyer in real-life.
Pratt may be taking on some more serious roles nowadays, but they always tend to show off some of that quirky Chris Pratt charm. And even if he has to dial back the goofiness on screen, we’re sure Pratt was taking pics of dino-poop to send to Offerman on set of Jurassic World, which hits theaters June 12.
