Wiz Khalifa Busted For Pot Twice In 10 Days
For the second time in less than two weeks, Wiz Khalifa has been busted for marijuana. The rapper was in Winston-Salem, North Carolina last night for a gig when cops noticed a foul odor wafting out of his tour bus. The authorities entered and reportedly discovered almost twelve grams of pot belonging to Wiz and a few of his associates.
According to TMZ, everyone involved was cited for possession and released almost immediately after. Even taking into account Wiz’s bust ten days ago for weed in Nashville, it’s unlikely the musician will wind up spending any time in jail, but he’ll still have to return to both places for court appearances in the near future. Those wasted afternoons could wind up affecting future tour dates and burning a hole in his pocket.
One time when I was a little kid, my mother caught me eating a second brownie after she’d said I was only allowed one. I vividly remember telling her I’d never do it again but knowing deep down I loved brownies too much to ever follow through on such an unfair pledge. Apparently, that’s the exact same way Wiz Khalifa felt when he no doubt got lectured by authorities over marijuana possession ten days ago.
If Wiz pleads out and gets a slap on the wrist, you probably won’t ever hear about either of these incidents again, but if something larger comes of the charges, we’ll be sure to let you know.
