In this week's Operation Kino, we're testing out another new format, kicking things off with a lightning round in honor of Rio's animated birds before we start the show. In Segment 1 we each pick the one thing we've got on our mind this week, in Segment 2 we review Scream 4, and in Segment 3 we use Dave's visit to the Rise of the Planet of the Apes set as a chance to talk about prequels in general, and whether or not they're ever an important part of a story.
To read Dave's Apes set visit go to Latino Review, where he actually says that James Franco and Andy Serkis "put their monkey where their mouth is." You can watch the first episode of the Mortal Kombat online series we discuss here, and though Patches' claim that you can download the first two episodes of The Killing on iTunes for free turned out to be false, you can stream them at AMC's website.
Take a listen below and find all your downloading options; for more from all of us, you can follow Dave (@da7e), David (@davidehrlich or @CriterionCorner), Matt (@misterpatches) and me (@kateyrich) on Twitter.
