When it comes to multimedia empires birthed largely from one person’s fandom, the Star Wars universe reigns supreme, and May 2022 will be especially gratifying for fans and collectors of all sorts. With Star Wars Day kicking the month off on May 4, and Ewan McGregor’s return to the franchise for Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi leading into the summer with its May 27 premiere, it’s an ideal time to take advantage of StockX’s vast assortment of Star Wars collectibles, electronics, apparel, and more, with something to appeal to every kind of fan.

For those who want a more in-tune way to seek out Star Wars goodies (or those of many other brands and interests) than walking down department stores aisles, StockX is like a more personalized shopping experience for those who are interested in looking beyond casual fandom, preferably if that view involves more than 6,000 LEGO pieces. Through its broad range of products, global supply access, dynamic and real-time market pricing, rigorous authentication, and anonymous transactions, StockX aims to connect the fans with the treasures they’re seeking, putting everything into the hands of the buyers and sellers.

And it doesn’t take any Force-adjacent powers to see that StockX has a lot available for any buyers hoping to spend the Month of May busy with new Star Wars products. Let’s hang out in hyperspace for a while so we can zip between all of the excellent collectibles below.

LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series AT-AT Set

If you’re looking for collectibles where the word “Ultimate” absolutely lives up to the definition, the LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series features some doozies that would have left me permanently gobsmacked had they been around when I was a kid. Particularly this monster of an AT-AT set, which includes a whopping 6,785 pieces, and is thus recommended for older and more focused collectors. The set first released in the Fall of 2021 with a retail price of $800, but you’ll find a much lower price through StockX the sooner you act on it.

Bearbrick Star Wars The Mandalorian 100% & 400% Set

Science may never explain why bears are such an embraceable way for customization to thrive within pop culture fandoms, but the Bearbrick community isn’t looking for answers. They’re looking for awesome figures, such as the Mandalorian iteration, which was released by Medicom Toy in 2020. This set in particular, which features the 100% and 400% versions of Mando himself, has become one of the best-selling Bearbricks in all of StockX, and you can bet interest will grow even higher when Season 3 finally comes around.

LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 Set

The only thing cooler than having an actual working R2-D2 unit would be…well, having a working C3P-O unit, since it has arms and can help more around the house. But beyond that, the best thing would definitely be the most top-of-the-line droid representation on display at LEGO, which is certainly the case with the 2,314-piece set that first went on the market in May 2021. It stands just over a foot tall, and even boasts a rotating head so that R2 can look you directly in the eyes when asking if you’re almost done yet. It’s a good thing you don’t speak bleep-blorp.

Star Wars The Black Series The Mandalorian Helmet by Hasbro

The next best thing to being a Mandalorian bounty hunter is looking the part, and it certainly helps that the Disney+ character keeps his face covered throughout the show, so there’s no need to look exactly like star Pedro Pascal. The replica helmet sold by StockX is indeed produced  by Hasbro, and has a helmet light near the right eye, but it’s probably better to keep this pricey item on a collector shelf as opposed to a rough-housing child’s head.

2022 Topps Star Wars Signature Series Hobby Box

For those more interested (or as interested) in card collecting as any other kind of Star Wars merch or entertainment, it’s only fitting that the iconic trading card company Topps would have just what the doctor (Aphra) ordered. Anyone who purchases the 2022 Topps Star Wars Signature Series set doesn’t need to worry about opening up a pack of duds, because every card here is a signature-emblazoned winner. And with the guarantee that each set contains an encased card autographed by one of 100 cast members, it’s sure to inspire as much envy from others as glee.

Razer Xbox The Mandalorian Beskar Edition Wireless Controller & Quick Charging Stand

With all the Star Wars video games out there now that are indeed enjoyable to play in large bursts, it only makes sense to take those challenges on with the most fitting equipment and console peripherals. So you’re only doing yourself a favor by snatching up the Beskar Edition wireless XBox controller, with the Mandalorian’s instantly identifiable helmet set on the charging station. It probably doesn’t give the controller extra power just because of that, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon Ultimate Collector Series Set

For anyone whose thirst for marathon LEGO Star Wars sessions was only partially quenched by the aforementioned AT-AT set, feast your Wookiee-loving eyes on the ever-magnificent Millenium Falcon set, which clocks in at over 7,500 pieces, and every one of those pieces is needed for Han Solo to make it through the kessel run, or else his story won’t make any sense at all. Even though it was released back in January 2018, few LEGO sets will be able to dwarf this upper-echelon set celebrating that most badass of all the franchise’s ships.

Kith Star Wars Classic Vintage Tee

While brands that identify under the umbrella of “luxury goods” don’t always embrace fanbase-emboldened properties like Star Wars, the company Kith has done just that, bringing vintage aesthetics to quality products. If you’re going to spend a while putting together all of the LEGO sets available on StockX, you’re probably going to need a T-shirt that won’t be falling apart by the time you finish them all.

LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer Ultimate Collector Series Set

For the Star Wars fans who choose to live it up on the Dark Side as opposed to those who draw the line at light smuggling, there’s arguably no cooler collectible to spend your time with than the LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer Ultimate Collector set. This one shouldn’t completely disrupt your life, at “only” 4,784 pieces, but it will definitely take up some shelf room, as it’s three feet long and two feet wide. You’ll have to supply your own menacing theme, however.

Funko Pop! Star Wars The Mandalorian The Child (Baby Yoda) Bobble-Head Figure

If you only have a little bit of space left on the shelf after getting the Imperial Star Destroyer LEGO set fully constructed, but you still want that minimal spot to have the most impact, then the most adorable 50-something creature in all the galaxies: The Child. Or Baby Yoda, as he’s casually known. This Yoda-friendly being is welcome anywhere in the house, and perhaps most welcoming is the fact that he doesn’t break the bank by showing up.

Nike Air Presto Mid Utility Darth Vader Colorway

Even though Adidas currently has contractual ties with the Star Wars franchise, that doesn’t mean Nike can’t pull off designs and colorways that are reminiscent of Sith Lords. While obviously darker than the Boba Fett colorway, these kicks would look perfect dangling from whoever Darth Vader happens to be Force-choking at the time.

WB Games PS5 LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition Video Game

You won’t be able to play this game with the Mandalorian-flavored Xbox controller seen above, but be sure to find one you’re comfortable with, because LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition is the mothermode of all LEGO-branded video games, regardless of what the licensed property is. The game goes through all nine films of the franchise and beyond, and in case anyone is wondering, it absolutely is more fun to play a LEGO Star Wars game while surrounded by magnificent LEGO sets, so long as one does not attempt to recreate the game’s block-breaking actions at home.

Star Wars fever is coming this May, and thanks to Obi-Wan Kenobi and Season 3 of The Mandalorian, it’ll be around throughout the rest of 2022 and beyond. And luckily for fans, so will StockX, so stay up to date with everything happening on Instagram.
