With the post-apocalyptic setting and the idea of being thrust into enemy territory, the role sounds not too far off from Escape from New York's Snake Plissken

The piece is mostly about the city of Derby giving permission for the film to use the town's seal and location, and the Jackman thing comes from the vaguely worded sentence

Sounds fascinating and bizarre and totally original, and given that the graphic novel isn't all that familiar to moviegoers, hopefully the film version will feel that way as well
