DICE has a bit of a surprise for shooter fans today. They've re-released the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 with a new Ultimate Edition.

DICE has released yet another VIP Map Pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. The sixth VIP pack unlocks new modes for two existing maps.

Today the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC received the fifth map pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. As usual, it's free for VIP members.

Last we heard, DICE was "investigating" the possibility of bringing Bad Company 2's Onslaught mode DLC to the PC. That sounded like a brush off but it really wasn't.

Today the fourth VIP map pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 hit the PS3 and Xbox 360. Its PC release is expected later in the day.

Upon releasing the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Onslaught DLC yesterday for the PS3, DICE said that the 360 would get the content in the "very near future." They weren't lying.

Premium co-op downloadable content was released for the PS3 version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 today. DICE also gave a status report on when the Xbox 360 and PC will get it.

The multiplayer beta for Medal of Honor was supposed to launch on the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 next Tuesday. However, there's been a delay to the 360 version.

Call of Duty isn't the only series on its way to Vietnam. Today EA announced Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, an expansion pack due this winter.
