Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's lengthy beta is almost at an end. Valve has revealed that they plan to release the counter-terrorists vs. terrorists shooter to the public by the end of the summer.

Four new screenshots for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive hit the Internet today. They show off a suburban map called "de_lake" that will ship with the multiplayer shooter.

Last week Valve announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for consoles and the PC. It might not matter what version of the game you get, as Valve plans to include cross-platform play.
