Square Enix apologized to players this morning for the server issues they encountered during Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's launch. They're offering free game time to make up for these problems.

Square Enix will relaunch their MMO Final Fantasy XIV at the end of the summer. The revamped version of the troubled game will be available on August 27th on the PS3 and PC.

Later this year Square Enix will release Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, the relaunched version of FFXIV. In the meantime, they're looking for a few good players for the beta test.

Square Enix continued its efforts to reintroduce Final Fantasy XIV to the public today with a new trailer. This trailer, dubbed "Limit Break," shows off a new combat feature for the revamped MMORPG.
