This Full House Then And Now Photo Is Too Adorable For Words
The beloved 90s sitcom Full House has been making headlines over the past couple of years thanks to the Netflix revival Fuller House that gave us another look at the extended Tanner family. Fuller House Season 2 is currently in production, and Aunt Becky actress Lori Loughlin has seized the opportunity to share a picture that is almost unbearably cute. Loughlin reunited with the boys who played her twin sons back in the original run of the series, and the result is worth checking out. Take a look!
I apologize if you had to take a break out of your day to say "Awww!" at your screen after seeing that photo. There just aren't enough synonyms for "adorable" and "cute" that I could have used to adequately prepare you for the level of precious in the photo of Lori Loughlin with the boys who played her babies way back when. Loughlin posted the image on her Instagram yesterday, and she's already gotten nearly 70,000 likes and more than 700 comments. I'm evidently not the only one overwhelmed with adorable with Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit posing with their former screen mom.
It's only fair that we get to see a behind-the-scenes look at the modern Aunt Becky with Nicky and Alex before Season 2. Uncle Jesse actor John Stamos shared a pic of the twins recreating a 90s pose back when Fuller House Season 1 was filming. Now, we can only hope that Lori Loughlin and Stamos join forces and snap a photo of the whole Katsopolis family with the boys. Loughlin already posted an image of Becky and Jesse celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. If we're lucky, she'll manage to get one of all four together.
Of course, the boys aren't really boys anymore. Blake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit are going on 26, and they probably couldn't have fit at a kitchen table with Lori Loughlin to exactly recreate the picture from their Full House days. Nicky and Alex grew up. Loughlin doesn't actually look too incredibly different than she did 20 years ago, so perhaps Season 2 of Fuller House will reveal that she discovered the Fountain of Youth between the end of Full House and the premiere of the revival. It would definitely explain how both Becky and Jesse have managed to age so gorgeously.
There's no saying at this point just how much we'll see of Lori Loughlin in Season 2 of Fuller House so far. John Stamos has confirmed that he'll be on screen as Jesse for three episodes, so we should expect around the same number for Loughlin. We already know that there will be a big Thanksgiving-themed episode for the second season; surely a Fuller House Thanksgiving would be incomplete without Becky, Jesse, and the boys. We can probably count on key members of the Katsopolis family turning up in that particular episode.
Netflix has not yet confirmed a premiere date for the next batch of Fuller House. You can check out our breakdown of what we know so far about Season 2 for a peek ahead. John Stamos starred in a trailer of sorts for Season 2, but it wasn't exactly filled with spoilers for what we should expect.
