Watch Britney Spears Wake Up Jimmy Kimmel With An Epic Prank
Jimmy Kimmel is kind-of a prankster, but occasionally a celebrity will turn the tables on the late night host and attempt something kind-of incredible. During last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late night host explained that he can occasionally appreciate a prank that is pulled on him. Apparently, Jimmy Kimmel's wife conspired against him this time, and got Britney Spears to wake him up in the middle of the night with music and dancers. You can check out the amusing prank, below.
For the prank, Britney Spears and a crew of her male dancers---who were all wearing underwear and socks and little else---paraded into Jimmy Kimmel's bedroom after his wife, Molly McNearney, let them into the house. Britney Spears is not a particularly in-your-face performer, but she does dance suggestively all over the bed next to Jimmy Kimmel as he tries to wake up all the way. We're pretty sure that by the time Spears' dancers wave their junk in his face, he's cognizant of what is going on.
This is a follow-up to a prank that Rihanna pulled a while ago, where she also woke Jimmy Kimmel from his slumber to dance all around him. In her case, the performance was even more aggressive, but I do appreciate how cool as a cucumber Jimmy Kimmel seemed this time around. He just thanks them for coming by and then gets out of bed and gives Britney Spears a big hug.
The pop singer is rather adorable, too, as she hollers at Jimmy and then checks herself, realizing the couple does have children in the house. It's clear she's a little unused to pranking people, but it worked out well, considering Jimmy Kimmel gave her new album "Glory" a plug after airing the segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Jimmy Kimmel may have had to sacrifice a little sleep for the sake of the prank, but it's a really great moment for the late night show and if you haven't checked it out at this point, why are you still reading this? Look at the video!
New episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live! air on weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET, only on ABC. In addition, you can find out what's coming up this fall with our TV premiere schedule.
