One of Fox's more prominent hits from last year, Scream Queens, is returning for Season 2 in an all-new setting with a bunch of new faces. This season is moving from the sorority to the medical ward, where John Stamos will play a mysterious doctor. Now the show has released a new teaser that gives us not only our first look at Stamos, but also fellow new addition Taylor Lautner. It's a regular old handsome fest.
Nothing super crazy to point out here. The video mainly introduces the main players and the settings for Season 2. John Stamos will be playing Dr. Brock Holt, the lead and mysterious head surgeon of a mental hospital where some exciting and extraordinary cases are being examined. Joining him is Taylor Lautner as Dr. Cassidy Cascade, who suffers from his own unique and mysterious mental disorder. The two new characters are sure to become suspects when the inevitable murders start happening, and a new killer is revealed to be on the loose.
The video also reveals our first look at the returning Jaime Lee Curtis' Dean Munsch. Or is that Doctor Munsch now? It looks like Munsch is in a new position of authority, and has left behind college dorms for hospital beds. Given the fact that she's in center frame, I have to imagine that she's the head of the hospital or at least high up there on the chain of command. There are lots of interesting things to speculate, but fans of the show can be certain of this: Munsch is definitely going to try to have sex with John Stamos' character.
Also returning this season are the Chanels played by Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, and Abigail Breslin. The three of them are apparently out of the insane asylum, and will now be nurses - more than likely against their will - at the medical hospital. They even came with their own Chanel-ified nurse uniforms. The Chanels will be joined by other returning actors such as Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash.
There's no word on what the central mystery of the season will be or the theme of the killer (is it still the Red Devil)? One thing fans can be sure of is that there will be plenty of murder and gore to go around. Survivors from last season might not be so lucky this time around, but as long as nothing happens to Chad - legitimately one of the funniest characters on the show - then I'll be happy.
